Jennifer Logue:

Hello, everyone and welcome to another episode of creative space, a Podcast where we explore, learn and grow and creativity together. I'm your host Jennifer Logue. And you may have noticed that we didn't have any episodes of creative space the last few Sundays. So today, I wanted to pop in to give you guys an update. I've been sick the last few weeks with standard COVID. Yep, it was my first time getting COVID. And it knocked me down. I'm still on the mend, because it was complicated by some other health issues I've been having. So I'm trying to be as gentle with myself as I can. Creative Space will continue. But I need to take a few weeks to rest. And to get back to 100%, which is really hard for me to do. I'm checking off the to do list getting things done kind of girls. So taking a step back to take care of my body, mind and spirit can be hard, especially when it's unexpected. And that's something I know many of us can relate to. Our society is built on achievement and pushing through no matter what the show must go on mind over matter, you know the drill. But as human beings, our bodies are our instrument. You don't have to be an actor or singer or dancer. No matter what you're creating. Our bodies are what we have to work with. Just as you wouldn't play a piano is out of tune or missing a few keys. As I've gotten older, I've accepted that when we're out of tune physically, mentally, emotionally, whatever, it's best to just take a step back, take some time, if you can to get back in tune. The people you love the people, you work with family, friends, and you will be better for it. And we only get one body in this life. If you break it, you can't just go to the store and get a new one. This is a lesson I learned the hard way a few years ago. But that's another story for another day. Anyways, thanks for listening to me ramble on about health and creativity. And I hope you take some time to do something nourishing and rejuvenating for your body today. Love it, respect it, care for it like the Stratovarius that it is. There is no one. Nobody just like you. New episodes of creative space will resume on Sunday, April 16. In the meantime, there is plenty to catch up on if you're new to the podcast. And if you're not new to creative space, please take the time to leave a review and tell me what you think about it so far. Are there certain topics you'd like to see covered? People you'd like to see interviewed? You can reach out to me at Jennifer logue.com or on social media at Jennifer Logue. That is all for now. It's time for me to make some see see you all in a few weeks.
