Announcement: Free Artist's Way Online Workshop Coming in 2024
Show Notes Transcript

This is more of an announcement than a full episode, however, I wanted to let you know that I'll be hosting a free online workshop in January 2024  based on "The Artist's Way" by Julia Cameron.

It will start on Monday, January 22nd in 2024 and run from 7pm to 9pm EST each week for 12 weeks. So that takes us through to April.

It will all be online, so all you’ll need is Zoom to participate. And a copy of the book.

(I’m not teaching the book,  FYI, I’m merely facilitating. We’re in this together as fellow creatives. But doing this work is so much more fun in a group.)

Here's the link to sign up: https://bit.ly/3GMJIp8

See you there :)

Speaker 1:

Hello everyone and welcome to another episode of Creative Space, a podcast where we explore, learn and grow in creativity together. I'm your host, jennifer Loge, and today is more of an announcement than a full episode, but since we're all winding down for the holidays, I thought it would be a good time to talk about a free online workshop I'll be hosting in 2024. You may or may not be familiar with the artist's way. It's an incredible book that was published in the 90s by writer and creative coach, Julia Cameron. It's basically a 12-week course in creative recovery and it's designed to guide people who feel stuck in unlocking their creativity and overcoming creative blocks. It's meant for artists of all disciplines writers, painters, dancers and anyone who wants to grow their creative potential, and you can be a seasoned pro or a complete newbie to creativity it doesn't matter, because we're all born creative.

Now back to the workshop. It will start on Monday, january 22nd in 2024 and run from 7pm to 9pm Eastern each week for 12 weeks, so that takes us through to April. It will all be online, so all you'll need is Zoom to participate and a copy of the book. I'm not teaching the book, I'm merely facilitating. We're in this together as fellow creatives, but doing this work is so much more fun in a group. If you're interested in signing up, you can go to my website and click on the contact option and an option will drop down for the artist's way workshop. There's also a sign up on the link in bio on my Instagram page, so it would be wonderful to have you participate. I know 12 weeks sounds like a lot, but even if you have to miss a session or two, you can always follow along on your own that week with the book. Anyway, that's all I have for this episode of Creative Space. Thank you so much for listening. Until next time.
